About Crossbow academy
ß< What are we:
Crossbow academy was the brainstorm of a 'medieval crossbow' styled game, which was designed to attend medieval or other forms of events to raise money for Battle Chamber of Commerce.
The game was developed/ designed and built by Tom & Dale, who are two active members of 'Battle Chamber of Commerce' (from which the game is associated too).
The concept of this game came about from an annual event which Tom & Dale help to organise and run, called the Battle Medieval Fair, which takes part every year at the end of May! From which is organised directly under Battle chamber of commerce. It was then decided that a further form of game was required to bring in further money, to ensure the event was successful the following year...
The event went extremely well and the new game brought in great interest and success.
As well as interest’s from outside of Battle, for the game to attend further events.
And so it grew....
Not only does Crossbow Academy feature at the medieval fair in Battle but has since attended other fundraising events, and has also been involved in events at Bodium Castle, which is run by The National Trust.
It is also important to note that The money crossbow academy makes goes directly back into The Battle Chamber of Commerce and is used to fund events such as the medieval fair.
